Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be aid stations?

There will be aid stations at all scoop levels but please plan to be self sufficient and bring all necessary items you would bring on any long mixed terrain bike ride! Plan as if there are no aid stations.

Can I only do the scoop I signed up for?

NO! You can change your mind and go bigger or go back to the Cub House and chill quicker! It's up to you! No judgement, just high fives!

What kind of bike/tires should I use?

The bike you ride is up to you :) but we recommend a gravel bike with at least 700x42c tires or a nice juicy 650b tire to make the dirt more fun!

Can I see the routes?

Routes will be available to view a few days before the event weekend! They are not the same as last year!

Single Scoop - 27 Miles and 4,100ft Climbing - 2/3 Road and 1/3 Dirt
Double Scoop - 38 Miles and 6,300ft Climbing - 50% and Road 50% Dirt
Triple Scoop - 62 Miles and 10,000ft Climbing - 50% and Road 50% Dirt

Will you offer mechanic services the morning of?

The rides start early so we can help you with a small tweak but plan your tune ups and tire swaps earlier. Get your bike ready at least a week before!

When can I pick up my registration pack?

Pick up will be Thursday and Friday before the event May 16-17th at the shop! Same day is possible but make it easier on yourself and do it before! All packet pickup is at the Cub House 2510 Mission St San Marino CA 91108

Will there be food and drinks all weekend?

Yes! If you register for the ride you get some pizza Saturday, details will be in your registration pack! Sunday we will have multiple food vendors for you to choose from.

Can I enter multiple cars/bikes into the show?

This is case by case. We want lots of entries but need to give everyone a chance so call/text and we can chat!

How many swap spots are there?

The swap spots are first come and there is no set size for everyone or quantity of spots available. We will let you set up once you pay your fee and let you know where to go. We want everyone to get a chance so you might have to shrink your spot or spread out and share your spot with someone!
